So I haven't written a journal update in almost...2 years. So I thought I should actually update (for anyone who bothers to read this)

Since graduating, I haven't done a whole lot of art. Not just because I'm working and such, but because I don't have as much inspiration, and even more so, I don't have an art class pushing and forcing me to create art. And at my graduation, my art professor made it a point to mention to never stop drawing...so yeah. I finally took his advice and I'm trying to get in a habit of making art. Because I miss drawing and drawing makes me happy.

So that leads me to now. 6+ months later I have finally updated my gallery and I have WIP (or at least Ideas In Progress) that are soon to follow. Wish me luck!

So if anyone has been wondering why I haven't been on, it's because last time I was on dA, my computer was attacked by 3 viruses. The fist time I just thought "oh, I got a virus". But every time I went on deviantart and clicked on a thumbnail or a picture, I would randomly get attacked again and again. After doing some research, I found that other people with Vista were having the same issues. And since the It people at my school weren't fixing student's computers anymore and my brother (who usually fixes my computer) is too far away to fix my computer, I figured it best to stay away from deviantart for a while.

But I'm back!...well at least for right now. I'm currently using a school computer to do this just in case if I'm attacked, it isn't my computer that's infected. ^_^;

So this is what I have been doing and what I plan to submit here in the near future:

-I'm taking a figure drawing class. It's been going alright though drawing people have never been my strongest skill (mainly due to issues with human proportions). I'm also finding the challange to draw fast yet accurately especially in class (I could never go to art school lol). I will try to post some of the better works as they happen.
-My friends at college all want me to draw their ponies for their Christmas gifts. That's 3 horse drawings total. I'm excited to do them, but I have no clue when or if I will have the time to do them.
-Oh, and I also need to draw a picture of Bri's uber cute bunny, Nayru. He's just too cute not to draw. (Bri, you can't let me forget to draw Nayru, ok?)


So, that's what has been going on with me. Hopefully, I will be on here more often and will be able to draw what I plan to draw. Wish me luck!

Tomorrow morning I will sign up for my classes next semester. I will be taking:

Clinical Practices 1

I tried fitting art into my schedule because hey..I was hoping to minor in it. Well no such luck for me. The art class I want is only offered once and it happens to be during my other classes. When I talked with my advisor though, she found a way so I could possibly take the art class. Problem is that I don't want to be overloaded with work like i was this semester. Now that I have three labs, I decided that taking an art class would be too much and would cause me un-needed stress. Besides, I have to have extra time available to do community service hours for my scholarship.  


Man, and i was really looking forward to having an art class. At least after this semester I won't have to take math anymore! (assuming that i pass it)
